Tebex Subscriptions Now Live in India and Brazil

Tebex stores can now offer subscriptions with more local payment methods in two of gaming's largest markets

Tebex Subscriptions Now Live in India and Brazil

Your store’s recurring revenue success depends on one basic thing: the payment rail that is already sitting in a player's wallet.

We’re proud to share that subscriptions on Tebex now support two of the rails that matter most in two of gaming's largest markets: UPI in India and Pix in Brazil.

Both markets share a similar challenge for stores with subscription packages: global card rails don't match how most players in these regions actually pay. A subscription that only accepts an international card is a subscription most local players cannot start, let alone renew.

Our new UPI and Pix support allows your players to pay how they’re used to, bringing you closer to your community.

India: UPI

Players in India can now sign up for and renew Tebex subscriptions using UPI, the payment method built into how the country actually transacts. Recurring billing runs on the rail already trusted for everyday purchases, not a workaround players have to adopt for one game.

Brazil: Pix

The same principle applies in Brazil. Subscriptions now run through Pix, a payment method built for the local market, giving Brazilian players a renewal flow that matches how they already pay elsewhere.

What this means for our partners

A subscription model is only as strong as its renewal rate. Renewal rate is only as strong as the payment method behind it. Studios running Tebex subscriptions in India and Brazil now have a real path to recurring revenue in two markets where that path didn't exist before.

More local rails behind subscriptions. Fewer players locked out of recurring revenue because of how they pay.
