The Role

Tebex are a leading server monetisation platform working in the Minecraft and online gaming industry and supporting thousands of server owners around the world. We are currently looking for a talented PHP developer with c. 2 years experience to join our team on a full time basis to help Tebex make future leaps in its product offering and help take Tebex to the next level in being able to respond to changes and requests faster.

Your Responsibilities

Based in our Nottingham office, this role is perfect for a developer looking to 'step up' from a junior role, with wide-ranging responsibilities:

  • Design and build new features from our backlog
  • Provide assistance on the more technical of support requests on our primary SaaS platform
  • Address bug reports

About You

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic developer who is well-versed in OOP. We primarily use Laravel, but it's not critical that you know it already - as long you know another PHP framework and are willing to learn. Flexibility is key - you might be working on migrating legacy code one minute, and then working on a feature request for the biggest Minecraft server owner in the world the next! Frontend skills (HTML/CSS/JS) would be a plus, but design skills are not required.

Salary & Benefits

We are offering a salary in keeping with the market rates for this role depending on experience, and a host of other benefits:

  • Flexible working is possible - we all like the odd day working from home, or coming in late once in a while :)
  • Fresh coffee and good tea - no-one wants to drink instant all day!
  • The opportunity to expand your knowledge and skills with mentorship from our senior developers
  • Company-paid visit to a conference once a year to further expand on your skills
