We are currently looking for a talented PHP developer with commercial experience to join our team on a full time basis to help Tebex make future leaps in its product offering and help take Tebex to the next level in being able to respond to changes and requests faster.
Based in our Nottingham office, this role is perfect for a developer looking to 'step up' from a junior role, with wide-ranging responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic developer who is well-versed in OOP. We primarily use Laravel, but it's not critical that you know it already - as long you know another PHP framework and are willing to learn. Flexibility is key - you might be working on migrating legacy code one minute, and then working on a feature request for the biggest Minecraft server owner in the world the next! Frontend skills (HTML/CSS/JS) would be a plus, but design skills are not required.
While we love mentoring and supporting our developers, you will need to also be confortable working independently on day-to-day tasks.
As the team continues to grow, the developer in this role will have the opportunity to take a leadership role of their own, as one of the experienced members of the team
We are offering a salary in keeping with the market rates for this role depending on experience, and a host of other benefits:
