Recently acquired by Overwolf, the leading modding platform in the game industry, Tebex is a monetisation and payments platform, supporting thousands of server owners and content creators around the world on platforms including Minecraft, Rust, Discord, Ark, FiveM and more. We are currently looking for someone with a passion for gaming and experience in payments or financial risk roles to expand our PayOps team to ensure every transaction is handled successfully, safely and securely.
Fully remote, this role is perfect for anyone passionate about the gaming industry with a background in payments or managing financial risk:
At the present time, the PayOps team report directly to the director of technology and operations, but it’s likely an internal promotion from within the team will be made at an appropriate time in future.
The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about different types of financial risk, as well as having a sufficient level of understanding about gaming to be able to apply their knowledge to the gaming industry. Working as part of the PayOps team, effective internal communication is important as there are often a number of factors to consider when assessing either a payment or a creator, and collaborative thought is essential in those situations. At Overwolf, we aim to help our creators level up, so being able to provide effective advice to creators on how to minimise risk and improve their compliance is also important.
While we love mentoring and supporting fellow Tebexers (and we are active in Slack all day!), as a fully remote company, so you must be self-motivated and able to organise your own work and the work of your team autonomously when required.
