The Role

Tebex is recruiting for a Polyglot plugin developer to maintain and update our collection of plugins for a wide range of games including Rust, ARK, Space Engineers and more.

You will be aware of updates to the dedicated servers and API layers used by our plugins, and will update and build new versions of our plugins to maintain compatibility as required. In addition, you will investigate and build new plugins for new games that Tebex is looking to support, or new analytics plugins and additional features for games we already support.

Your Responsibilities

  • Advise when existing plugins need an update due to changes in the game's dedicated server or API layers
  • Update existing plugins with additional features and fixes as directed by Tebex
  • Build new plugins with compatibility with our analytics service for games we already support
  • Build new plugins for games we are planning to support
  • Assist with customer support in relation to problems with the plugins

About You

You will have a knowledge of a wide range of programming languages, and the ability to learn new languages - in particular Java, C#, C++ and Lua.

Experienced in game plugin development, you will have experince working with common game engines such as Unreal and Unity.

Given that we support a wide range of games in different languages, understanding the different build processes common in each language is important, as is experience working with Git
